Cubby House off to a New Home

Cubby house being craned onto a truck

Construction students at BYETC who built a cubby house as a community project were pleased to see their project taken to a new home this week.

The Ipswich City Council (Community Support Department) has taken ownership of the cubby house and will donate it to Amaroo C & K Kindergarten. The donation process was facilitated by Lyndall Hill from ‘Joining Together Mentoring Program’.
The mentoring program has also seen a number of metalwork projects donated to the community such as braziers and metal pot holders. BYETC is pleased that our community partners have supported our students to help others and provide our ‘curriculum of giving’ with the broader support it requires.
